I believed in the beginning that the link exchange sites were here to help people out and maybe the creators of said sites are good at their roots however most if not all the people that join the link exchange sites are playing games and quickly remove your link from their site shortly after placing it, and thats even if the page still exists. right now I have a large links page that has mixed links on it (some honest links back and fourth) and some that i need to delete. But this is going to take time, just as much time as it took me to create all these links in the first place...my advice to people out there is keep your links page clean and simple and only make a link partner out of someone that is actually going to uphold the promise of being a "partner" and thats to help eachother out.
